Changing the design landscape
Architecture, in service to the practical elements of life, meets utilitarian needs. As a form of artistic expression, architecture also serves the human desire for aesthetics. At Fentress Architects, we endeavor to elevate the utility and aesthetic of every project: from large scale planning efforts to the furniture, fixtures, and architectural details that finish our buildings.
One such example is the Place Chair by Arconas, which has sold over 20,000 units worldwide. Attending to this level of detail requires a steadfast commitment by our designers and in-house product librarians to both be very familiar with what is already available on the market, and to know what is not available. In those instances—when what our projects require is not yet available—we have the experience, knowledge, and relationships necessary to partner with industry leaders to create new products.
