One of the largest and greenest buildings of its type, the Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) and U.S. Army Reserve Command (USARC) joint headquarters building is on track to earn LEED Silver Certification by 2012.
Fentress Architects designed the state-of-the-art headquarters to express the importance of the people and work inside, providing a vibrant working environment conducive to attracting and retaining dedicated personnel. The stately design also honors the architectural precedence set by the historic Old Post District of Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The complex maximizes safety in accordance with the “DoD Minimum Antiterrorism Standards for Buildings.” FORSCOM is the Army’s largest command and the generating force provider for combatant commanders worldwide. USARC is the nation’s premier provider of Citizen-Soldiers for missions at home and abroad.
