About Martin
Since joining Fentress Architects in 2006, Martin has established himself as a versatile architect with deep expertise in urban design, interior design, architecture, and project management. His role uniquely allows him to bring his passion for design to every phase of a project, from conceptual development to technical detailing and construction administration.
Martin’s inspiration for architecture began at age eight, when his grandfather, a designer at Ford Motor Company, gifted him drafting equipment. This early influence sparked his lifelong dedication to the field. His portfolio features notable projects such as the FORSCOM Headquarters, Ralph L. Carr Colorado Judicial Center, Johnson County Courthouse, and the U.S. Air Force Academy Hosmer Visitor Center.
When it comes to his design philosophy, Martin embraces the Touchstone™ “Discover the Natural Order.” He believes that successful design enhances its setting and positively impacts its users and environment. An active participant in the industry, Martin recently completed “The New American Courthouse” course at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design.
