About Corey
Corey has brought his dedication and passion for timeless architectural solutions to Fentress since joining the firm in 2003. His love for the outdoors and fascination with how built structures interact with their environments is a driving force behind his design approach and served as an early inspiration for his career.
Corey’s portfolio reflects his expertise in managing large-scale, complex design projects, particularly in airport design. His work spans major U.S. hubs such as BNA, SJC, PDX, LAX, RDU, and DEN, where he has been integral in delivering projects characterized by innovative functionality and timeless design. His ability to serve as a liaison between the client and design team, while ensuring compliance with programmatic requirements and regulatory processes, has established him as a trusted leader in the field. Corey’s design philosophy aligns closely with the firm’s Touchstone™ “Use Context to Create Identity.” He believes that understanding a site’s unique characteristics is key to delivering inspiring and functional architecture.
In addition to his work at Fentress, Corey is an active speaker and participant in industry organizations such as AAAE, ACI, and DBIA. Outside of his professional life, he is an avid snowboarder and mountain biker, having moved to Colorado to take full advantage of its outdoor recreation. He is also active in his community through involvement with his local Parks, Recreation, Open Space, and Trails Advisory Committee, reinforcing his commitment to enhancing both built and natural environments.
